Farnborough
and District Angling Society is a small
society that was established in 1933 to
provide access to fishing venues for local
anglers. We are based in Northeast Hampshire
with a membership of approximately 400.
The membership is made up of approximately
80% pleasure anglers, a proportion of
whom are OAPs, disabled and juniors.
There is also a strong match following.
The Junior Team won the Junior National
Championships in 2002 and 2003. We also
run club matches group of about 15 anglers,
who fish for club trophies and also travel
to neighbouring club's waters to fish.
A small but select group fish for the
carp that are to be found in club waters.
We also offer small stream Trout fishing
for the game hunter.
Membership is available to everyone.
Coaching can be provided to novice anglers.
Disabled members welcomed, with access
to many of our waters. All ages are encouraged
