CONCERT ORCHESTRA
We
are a unique and friendly orchestra based
in Farnborough, NE Hampshire.The orchestra
consists of 40 or so keen musicians who
enjoy playing together. Our aim is to play
to a high standard, to perform concerts
which our audiences enjoy, and to have fun
doing it! Our music ranges from well-known
film and TV soundtracks to the popular light
classics.

Farnborough Scout Group
5th
Farnborough was founded in 1910 and has
resided at its own HQ (Scout hut) in High
Street since the 1950s, when the old army
barrack
building was moved and erected by members
of the group itself, more about the group
can be found on the History page.
At 5th we have a thriving Beaver Colony,
Cub Pack and Scout Pack. Our groups are
always looking for new members to join and
are always happy to accept new beavers,
cubs and scouts, to find out how to join

our site.

U3A
The U3A (University of the Third Age) is
a learning co-operative of retired people
that enables members to share many educational,
creative and leisure activities. Over 500
local U3As have been formed throughout the
UK and many other countries have similar
organisations. All the UK U3As are self
–funded and self – managed.
They draw upon the knowledge and experience
of their members to organise and lead their
study groups.
