Christmas Lights Switch On in Farnborough 2007

Princes Mead

Rushmoor's Twin Towns in France, Germany and Poland will visit with their Christmas stalls on 23rd, 24th & 25th November, providing Christmas crafts and foods from their respective countries.

Santa's Arrival will take place in Princes Mead on Saturday 24th November. There will be entertainment throughout the day starting at 11 a.m. including Homer Simpson, a Steelpan Player and free face painting. At 4.30 p.m. Peter Gordan, 96.4 Eagle Radio's breakfast DJ will introduce the Mayor and Mayoress of Rushmoor, characters from the Princes Hall panto and, of course, Santa Claus. The Christmas lights will be switched on and children can visit Santa in his Grotto free of charge then and every weekend up to Christmas.
