Farnborough
Baptist Church Farnborough
Baptist Church is a small but growing
church set in the heart of the North
Camp area of South Farnborough. We
have good links with the local community,
and we aim to reach out with the love
of Christ through both organised activities
and personal witness. The warm and
friendly feel of the church community,
which includes people of all ages,
is often commented upon. Our worship
is fairly informal and there is an
emphasis on applying biblical exposition
to our own lives. Children and teenagers
have their own "Young Church"
groups during the service. We support
a number of missionaries in various
parts of the world, including one
previous minister of the church who
now works with pastors in Africa.
Southwood
Church Southwood
Church is a family friendly church
at the heart of Southwood Village
in Cove. We meet in the community
centre next to Morrisons at 10am on
Sunday morning, and seek to make visitors
of all ages always welcome. Worship
is led by the band, and the words
used in the songs and service are
projected onto the screen. We have
a well run Sunday School and youth
work, run the ACE youth club on Friday
evenings, our ‘Smilers’
baby and toddler group on Friday mornings
during term time and have strong housegroups.
See our website for more details.

St
Christopher's Church St
Christopher's is a warm, friendly
church with Sunday worship suitable
for all, and a social calendar of
barbeques, skittles evenings and similar
activities through the year to build
up the fellowship. The growth of housegroup
membership has had a very positive
effect on the fellowship of the church.
There are five housegroups attached
to St Christopher's with a membership
of about 40 in total. We run Christian
basics groups regularly, most recently
Alpha, and have also run Emmaus courses.
St Christopher's also runs Sunbeams,
our baby and toddler group.
St
John's Church
St John the Baptist was built in 1844,
and is the original parish church
building. It is a charming building
and has a large churchyard (now closed,
but with a Garden of Remembrance for
ashes). It is hoped that major building
work will commence in the near future
to see the introduction of a new welcoming
area, toilet and improved access to
the church along with some reordering
to the interior (improved lighting
and heating systems as well as maximising
the visual impact of the chancel area).
